I am most definitely not a little girl.
So one day I decided to throw my lunch away after I was done eating it. Later that day, I was searching in my back pocket for my cellular device and IT WASN'T THERE. Retracing my steps, I realized my phone was in my hands as I was throwing my lunch away. Cringing at the thought of my phone being somewhere in the bottom of a garbage can, I raced down to the office to ask the office ladys if they could help a poor soul like me. So I get in the office and I ask the lady what to do if my phone was in the lunch garbage cans and she said I had to go look for it!! But she said the janitors probably put the garbage on the compost pile already. Wo, wo, wo... COMPOST PILE?! Really? Ya. So she took me down the hallway and told the janitor, "We've got a LITTLE GIRL here who thinks she might have thrown her phone away." SERIOUSLY?! I am not a "little girl." For a moment I completely forgot about my phone in the trash. I was more focused on how my reputation to the janitors would be. Very hurt by this comment, the janitor directed me to the compost pile. I ended up searching through 7 different garbage bags soaked with smelly salad dressing, eaten apples, and other unmentionables. AND I NEVER FOUND MY PHONE. Turns out, it was in my choir room the whole time! Wow. Quite the day.
